Jewel Moore, age 89 of Dardanelle, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1933 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late J. C. Moore and Exie Teal Moore. He was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church and he loved fishing, hunting and building things. Jewel was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lily Pete; two brothers, Bobby Moore, Adolphus "Snowball" Moore and a granddaughter, Kenadee Moore.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pearl Moore; children, Marilyn Guidry (Tony), Michael Moore (Mamie), James Moore, Monica Young (Jeff), Melinda Scott (Gaylen), Dennis Moore (Lacie); adopted son, Jonathan Carter; fifteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Kenneth Kellybrew officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Tiger Moore, Jamal Young, Demetrius Scott and Steven Moore.
