Jim A. Miller age 78 of Pottsville passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born August 5, 1942 in Dover, Arkansas to the late Oscar W. Miller and Cordelia Standridge Miller. Jim was a previous member for over 50 years at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Danville and was a current member of the Pine Ridge Freewill Baptist Church in Atkins and he was retired from Firestone Tire Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Billy Don Miller, Herbert Miller, Wilma Dean Hurst, Pauline Underwood, Juanita Hendrix, Alma Burris, Bernice Ketcherside, Reba Hunter; one son, Lang Miller and his great grandson, Trentley Miller.

Survivors include his wife of 59 Years, Rena Miller of Atkins; children, Donnia Pitts (Toby) of Pottsville, Brad Miller (Deborah) of Pottsville, Terry Miller (Karen) of Mt. George; sister, Allene Shockley of Mt. George; grandchildren, Blake and Kristina Miller of Richland, WA, Matt and Kristie Miller of Birta, Brandon Miller (Misty) of Pottsville, Cassie McDaniel of Pottsville, Devan Miller of Pottsville, Mistie Bean of Pottsville, Kristi and Dustin Bell of Pottsville, Brandy and Evan Pisciotta of Pottsville and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30P.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Hank Duvall, Rev. Kenny Vosburg and Bro. Chris George officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be private in New Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Underwood, Toby Pitts, Kevin Mills, Larry Bryant, Doyle Ketcherside and Misty Bean.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Bell, Doyle Fowler, Jim Gillespie, T.A. McConnell, Evan Pisciotta and the employees from Firestone Tire Company.
