Jimmie Gordon Garrison Jr age 65 of Dover went to Heaven Friday, April 6, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born July 30, 1952 at Dallas, Texas to Jimmie Garrison Sr and Maverene Wells. He had a strong will, great sense of humor, caring heart, and amazing work ethic. He loved his family, enjoyed nature, and had a hunger for knowledge. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie G. Garrison Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Maverne Garrison; two children, Sarah B. Boyer (Michael), Heather N. Collins (Averian); two sisters, Carolyn Bird (Michael), Sandra Cates (Timothy) and three grandchildren, Anaiyah Collins, Maryelle Collins and Ethan Boyer.

Services will be private and he will be laid to rest in Moores Chapel Cemetery in Waveland on April 12, 2018.
