Obituary

James Phillip Baugh age 64 of Russellville was openly received into the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at University of Arkansas Medical Science in Little Rock. He was born January 7, 1948 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Everett Ernest "E.E." and Camilla Wray Baugh. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a graduate of Forest City High School and Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Art and Graphic Design. He was a faithful and dedicated employee of Dow Chemical for 31 years finishing his career as a draftsman. Jimmy was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He was a supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital and Feed the Children organization. Jimmy was a kind and gentle man whose main passion was his sons. He always looked forward to any opportunity to talk about them and be a part of anything in which they were involved. In addition to his devotion to his family, Jimmy took a sincere interest in the lives of others - many whom he knew, others who were strangers. He was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone in need and for those who just needed a helping hand. His gentle nature and smiling face will be missed by many. Survivors include two sons, Brett J. Baugh of Jonesboro and Brandon J. Baugh of Russellville; mother of his children, Jill Sullivan Baugh of Russellville, special care giver of 22 years Joyce Brown of Dardanelle and many friends. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. James Finley, Rev. Wiley Jones and Courtney Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville.
