Jimmy Kenneth Cross Jr (commonly referred to as JR), age 66 of Dardanelle, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, AR. JR was born May 22, 1957, to the late Jimmy Kenneth Cross Sr. and Ruby Mae Cross. JR was a graduate of the "1975" Class of Dardanelle High School where he held the rank of president of the FFA. JR was a proud farmer, a member of the Yell County Mounted Patrol, a Yell County Sheriff's Deputy, and enjoyed bird hunting. JR's also known as Grampa Jim Jim's most favorite time was spending time with his grandchildren.  JR was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his three children, Jimmy Kenneth Cross III (April), Ronnie Cross (Brenna), and Dana Janner

(Dustin); two brothers Rick Cross (Stephney) and Carl Cross (Frances); seven grandchildren and countless relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cornwell Chapel.
