Jimmy Franklin Dyer, age 80 of Russellville, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at his home. He was born March 11, 1944 in Murry, Kentucky to the late Thomas Gray Dyer and Bula Scott Dyer. Jimmy served seven years in the United States Army. He loved fishing, hunting and woodworking. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Doris Baird; one son, Larry Baird; three brothers, Tom Dyer, Clarvil Dyer, James King; one sister, Joy Trantham and one granddaughter, Carly Gilchrist.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Alejandra Dyer; children, Diana Roesler (Jerome), Darla Gilchrist, Lonnie Baird (Joyce), Marie Bell (Neil), Jimmy Franklin Dyer II (Kara); one brother, Nick Dyer (Mary); grandchildren, Chloe, Sydney, Alexis, Coty, Jonathan, Chelsey, Joey, Holly; great grandchildren, Dean, Josie, Carly, Wilder and close friends, Eric and Beth Hampton.
