Jimmy Don Fowler age 66 of Rover passed away Friday, January 28, at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 2, 1955 in Russellville, AR. to the late James "Jim" L & Annie Scarborough Fowler. He was a member of the Centerville Freewill Baptist Church, he worked for ARDOT for 7 years and was the former owner/operator of Jimmy Fowler Trucking for 40 years. He enjoyed many years of stock car racing, driving the number 30.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Marie Blankenship; brothers-in-law, Stanley Denton and David Blankenship.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Janell Fowler; sons, Donnie Fowler (Hope) of Rover; Jackie Paul Fowler (Holly) of Pottsville; sisters, Barbara Denton and Carolyn Jones (Mike) of Mt George; sisters-in-law, Lisa Blankenship of Rover and Debra Lofland (Billy) of Briggsville; brother-in-law, Johnny Ray Blankenship (Joyce) of Rover; father-in-law, John Blankenship of Rover; grandchildren, Brady Fowler, Airastyn Novinger, Ayden Fowler of Rover; Jayla and Clayton Fowler of Pottsville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends,

Service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Rover Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Shipley and Bro. Robert Harrison officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, January 31, at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be at Blankenship Family Cemetery in Rover.

Pallbearers include Stephen Blankenship, Todd Blankenship, Jacob Lofland, Mitchell Jones, James Leroy Denton, Steven Jones, and Blake Reed.

Honorary pallbearers ARDOT District 8 employees; Joe Dishongh, Ricky Day, William Fowler and his stock car pit crew.
