Jo Ellen "Jody" Hamrick age 67 of Belleville passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at her home.

Jody was born April 28, 1954, in Booneville, Arkansas to the late Joe B. & Ina Sue Nelms York. She was a retired administrator from Mitchell's Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sue & Deward Smith, Joe B. York; sister, Tammy Cobb; mother-in-law, Sharlie Hamrick; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Hines.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Jerry Hamrick; daughter, Michel May of Russellville; son, Micheal (Dorinda) May of Dardanelle; siblings, Peggy (Keith) Briggs of Bryant; Larry York; Tony (Jessica) York all of California; Keith (Allyson) Smith of Belleville; Angela Lindimore; Joe (Vicky) York; Kayla York all of Ohio; grandchildren, Kari (Chance) Junyor of Atkins; Morgan May of Danville; Jarrett May of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Lydia & Georgia Junyor; Lyla & Jameson Green; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, December 16, at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel.

Honorary pallbearers include Mike Rogers, Cody Green, and her nephews.
