Joann Parker age 77 of Dardanelle died Monday, August 29, 2016 at Baptist Health System in Little Rock. She was born January 29, 1939 at Centerville to the late Thelmar and Mildred Underwood Scoles. She was a member of the Faith Church in Dardanelle and she loved to fish, going to church and taking care of her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Parker; grandson, Eric Parker; one sister, Jerry Awalt and one brother, Cleveland Scoles.

Survivors include one son, Johnnie parker (Carol) of Russellville; one brother, Gary Scoles (Carroll) of Cedarville; One granddaughter, Brandie Paz of Russellville; two great grandchildren, Ciara and Jorge Paz both of Russellville and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Haskell Eavenson officiating. Burial will be in Petillo Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.
