Joe Apple, 89, of Havana died April 26, 2015 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Centerville on April 26, 1926 to John and Bessie Brasher Apple. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired construction worker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Ozell, his parents, brothers, Robert and Jimmie; sisters, Geneva and Vivian. He is survived by sons, John (Shirley) Apple of Mayflower, Mike (Tracy) Apple of Dardanelle, Lonnie (Anita) Apple of Clarksville; daughters, Marcia (Dan) Terry of Danville, Renee (Tom) Ernst of Havana; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Outreach Church with Rev. W.A. Gorman officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Havana Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to AR.
