Bear Hipp

Joel "Bear" Douglas Hipp age 63 of Russellville died Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sparks Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born November 25, 1953 at Merced, California to the late Joseph Wesley and Ivy Loraine Kilby Hipp, Sr. He retired from Tri-County Water where he was a certified water engineer. Bear loved working with wood and on cars especially old Model T's. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Louise Watts and Patsy Alverez.

He is Survived by three children Melissa McMillan (Damon) of Dover, Emily Hipp of Russellville and Christopher Hipp of Dover; two sisters, Katherine Morris of California and Beverly Frost of Fort Smith; two brothers Wesley Hipp of Fort Smith and Ronnie Osterhout (Glenda) of Ola; five granddaughters, Taylor Bolin, Mercedes Hipp, Kailie McMillan, Shelby Stroud and Lilyenn McCabe.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, April 14, 2017 at the New Life Outreach Church in Danville.
