John Wesley Carr, age 61 of Atkins, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born January 19, 1962 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Eule Carr and Wilma Ross Carr. He loved playing pool, horseshoes, drinking beer and was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan, a loving husband, father and the best Papa. John was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sherry Carr; four children, John Carr (Sammi) of Atkins, Nathan Bowden of Atkins, LaShawna Reed of Russellville, Shelby Hoffman of Atkins, Shelisa Carr of Atkins; two brothers, Eule Carr Jr., Darren Carr; one sister, Earlene Gray; nineteen grandkids and many nieces, nephews, other family members and a Goddaughter, Brandy Tarkington of Atkins .

Memorial services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday at Bell's Chapel Asssembly of God Church with Chad Duvall officiating.
