John Henry Collins age 73 of Ola passed away August 8, 2011 at his home. He was born May 17, 1938 in San Diego, CA. to the late John Henry & Evelyn Gumball Collins. He was a 22yrs United State Navy Veteran; a 32 Degree Mason at the Masonic Lodge in Ola; and an member of the First Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vera Carolyn Fowler Collins.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Melanie & Joe Birge of Dardanelle; sons, James Collins of Fayetteville; Johnny Hank Collins of Texas; sisters Janet Bailey of Oceans Springs, MS; Diane Rand of Wildomar, CA; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Petit Jean Masonic Lodge # 298 in Ola with Chaplain Charles White officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Monday Night Card Players.
