Jim Foster John James "Jim" Foster age 88 of New Blaine went to be with the Lord Monday, April 28, 2014. He was born April 22, 1926 in Delaware to Luther and Mary Edna Parsons Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Jimmy; a daughter-in-law, Marie; five brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Catherine Foster; sons, Johnny of Dardanelle, Kenny of New Blaine, Joel of Delaware, Allen and wife Kim, Lyndell and wife Cindy Foster all of New Blaine; sister, Lottie and Archie Musgrave of Dardanelle; seven grandchildren, Christi Hood, Casey Foster, Nicky Foster, Chanda Hawkins, Jr. Foster, Ashtyn Foster, Jaycee Burke; five great grandchildren and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Delaware First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Pemberton, Jason Richardson, Casey Foster, Chris Hawkins, Nate Lapree and Edward Hood. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Richardson, Jr Foster and Charles Foster.
