John "Buzzy" Daugherty age 65 of Russellville died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. He was born April 19, 1953 at Davenport, Iowa to the late Hugh and Jeraldin Louise Edgar Daugherty. He was a heavy equipment operator for local companies. John trained Bird Dogs and competed in Field trials all over the US and Canada and loved his family and had many close friends in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Daugherty of Russellville; two children, Jamey Daugherty and wife Lisa of Ola, Mike Daugherty and wife Stacey of Conway; one stepdaughter, Courtney Robinson-Kinder and husband Kai of California; two brothers, Andy Daugherty and wife Charlene of Missouri, Pat Daugherty and wife Lucy of Tennessee; one sister, Marie Carter and husband James of Oklahoma and two grandchildren, Conor and Lilly of Conway.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be private.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Taylor, Dr. Jeffery Hale, James Carter, David Pelto, Mark Wachtendorf and Jerry Adams.
