John Kirby Summit age 56 of Russellville, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 at his home. He was born March 31, 1970 in Russellville, Arkansas to Ervin D. Summit and Judy Carol Williamson Summit. John was a member of the Lake Hills Church in Russellville. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BA Degree in Business and an Associate’s Degree in Agriculture. He loved to do landscaping, going fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kirby and Evy Summit and J.C and Hazell Williamson.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Judy Duvall Summit; his parents, Ervin and Judy Summit; one son, Ryan Summit; one brother, David Summit (Lisa) and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, 8:30A.M. to 10:00A.M., at the Lake Hills Church in Russellville. Funeral services will follow at 10:00A.M. at the church with Josh Reynolds officiating. Burial will in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Mark Duvall, Tyler Vantine, Seth Houghton, Ariana Deason, Anttwon White, Aaron Alton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Summit, Kent Davis and Douglas Duvall.
