John Allen Wear age 86 of Omega passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1934 in Oppelo, Arkansas to the late Hugh Bradford Wear and Audrey Earl Moore Wear. He attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a United States Army Veteran. He was the past president of Dardanelle School Board and Yell County Farm Bureau Family of the year. John loved hunting, fishing, farming, the community of Omega, watching sports, especially the Dardanelle Sand Lizards and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosalie Carter Wear; one son, Brad Wear and one sister, Glenda Taylor.

Survivors include his two children, Johnnna Duncan (Bobby), Jennifer Golman (Tim); daughter-in-law, Sondra Wear Crabtree (Donnie); seven grandchildren, Chelsea Hand (Nathan), Rachel Kirksey (Ben), Matthew Duncan, Jonathan Wear, Sydnee Caldwell (Austin), Courtney Golman, Hallie Wear; two great grandchildren, Rhett and Jude Kirksey and a special friend, Ruth Deaton.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30P.M., Monday, December 21, 2020 at Shepard Cemetery. Visitation will be held open on Monday, 10:00A.M. to 1:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
