Johnnie Marie Morton age 85 of Belleville passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

Johnnie was born August 20, 1937 in Waveland, Arkansas to the late John Wesley & Viola Dempsie Biggs.  She was a member of the Ranger Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Morton; son, Charles S. Morton; sisters, Ima Putman, Billie Brasher, Verlon Claggett and Faye Derrick.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianna & Rod Woodard of Hot Springs; Pamela & Mark Neely of Kaiserslautern, Germany; grandchildren, Stephanie & Ashwin Chandran of Lewisville, TX., Matthew & Jayci Woodard of Woolly Hollow State Park, AR., Olivia Neeley of Kaiserslautern, Germany; great-grandchildren, Mason Chandran and Jack Woodard and many wonderful nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Ranger Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 29, at Cornwell Funeral Home Danville. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Ronnie Putman, Dennis Putman, Bryant Derrick, Tony Derrick, Ashwin Chandran and Matthew Woodard.

Honorary pallbearers include, John Andrews and Dewayne Mack.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Ranger Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 16125 N St Hwy 27, Belleville, Arkansas 72824
