Obituary

Johnny "Dude" Baker age 77 of Ola passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at his home in Ola. He was born July 6, 1944 in Bates, Arkansas to the late John Baker and Irene Baker. Johnny was a Mason, a United States Army Veteran who loved his country and traveling the world, he was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Arkansas Razorback Fan ad he loved his children and going to the Casino. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Baker and a brother, William Baker.

Survivors include his five children, Johnny Len Baker of Dardanelle, Tina Aliene Robinson (Joe) of Birta, Buddy Alan Baker (Shawna) of Ola, Steven Lee Baker (Angie) of Ola, Emmy Lou Hrnjak (Bryan) of Ola; one brother, Leo Baker; grandchildren, Makayla Moore, Lane Moore, Payton Moore, Mychaela Bennett, Kutter Matthews, Cinch Forrest, Trell Forrest, Jayden Hrnjak, Darerick Hrnjak, Sissy Bacon, Blake Bacon, Tanner Baker, Trenton Baker, John Gregory Collins, Madison Bacon, Prestin Collins, Rylen Collins and one great grandchild, Dominic.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, December 17, 2021 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Tim Via officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery in Ola.

Pallbearers will be Trenton Baker, Prestin Collins, Rylen Collins, John Collins, Lane Moore, Tanner Baker and Joe Robinson.
