Jonathan Monroe Johnson age 29 of Danville passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. He was born January 18, 1987 to Charles Monroe and Nomie Elizabeth Ballinger Johnson. He loved to fish, going camping and putting smiles on his children's faces. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Ballinger.

Survivors include his mother, Beth Johnson of Mt. George; children, Alexis and Trey Johnson of Aly; sisters, Janie Copeland of Danville, Jennie Beard of Dover; brothers, Willie Johnson of Russellville, Dylan Payne of Mt. George; grandmother, Jane Ballinger of Mt. George; the love of his life, Christina Liford of Memphis, TN and his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
