Jonathan Witt

Jonathan James Madison Witt age 29 of Dardanelle died Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was born May 13, 1986 in New London, CT to the late Lura Witt. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and loved hunting, fishing, playing golf, wood work, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Lura Witt.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia Witt; his parents, Kenneth and Jeanette Witt; two children, Craigin Witt and Madison Witt; one brother, Rob Witt and his wife Erika Witt; aunts and uncles, Karen and Wayne Shewmake, Sue and John Cuevas, Marianne Witt, Kenny and Nanette Witt; in-laws, Tim and Beth Coffman, Lanita and David Pauley; cousins, Chris Kane, Kyla Kane, Dustin Kane, Amber Ojeda; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan Hudson, Tamara Coffman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Rob Witt, Casey Thompson, Nathan Caldwell, Chris Turic, Chris Overton, Kevin Henderson, and the Military Funeral Detail provided by the 704th Engineering Company.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all Soldiers and Veterans of the 704th Engineering Company.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jay Witt Children's Scholarship Fund at Chambers Bank
