Jose Lemus-Hernandez, age 85 of Dardanelle, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was born April 3, 1937 in Aramutaro de la cal Michoacan, Mexico to the late Teodoro Lemus Luque and Catalina Hernandez Ordaz. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alfonso Lemus-Hernandez.

Survivors include his wife, Maria de la Luz Gonzalez Torres; his children, Maria Gonzalez (Gilberto Gonzalez), Jose Luis Lemus Gonzalez (Martha Lemus), Patricia Lemus Gonzalez, Jenaro Lemus Gonzalez (Maria R. Lemus), Rosa Isela Lemus de Arias (Aurelio Arias S.), Gabriela Lemus Hernandez (Henry Hernandez), Raul Lemus Gonzalez (Alicia Hernandez); seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Mauricio Carrazco officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday at 8:00P.M. at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville.

Pallbearers will be his sons and son and laws.
