Joe Pfeifer

Joseph Robert Pfeifer age 85 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Russellville Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born December 28, 1931 at Dardanelle to the late Henry and Jennie Prochazka Pfeifer. He was a member of the Dardanelle Calvary Baptist Church, he loved gardening, farming his chickens and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Jennie Lynn Swilley; sister, Betty McGee and one nephew, Jerry McGee Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Pfeifer of Dardanelle; three children, Phylis Awalt and husband Clay of Dardanelle, Phillip Pfeifer and wife Melissa of Oklahoma, Polly Watson and husband Jerry Don of Dardanelle; one sister, Helen Wood and husband David of Dardanelle; brother-in-law, Jerry McGee Sr. of Dardanelle; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Dardanelle with Bro. Gary Blair and Bro. Mark Gower officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 10:000A.M., to 11:00A.M. at the church prior to the service.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
