Joy Lynn Ward age 54 of Dover passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Russellville. She was born December 3, 1959 in Danville, Arkansas to Homer Lee & Billie June White McConnell. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer McConnell and brother J.C. McConnell. Survivors include her mother, Billie McConnell of Danville; son, Michael & Shawna Markham of Atkins; daughter, Carla & Bobby Brewer of Russellville; companion, Jeff Morgan; grandchildren, Kyler Souvannakhoth; Michaela, Bailey & Emily Markham; brothers Dwight & Reda McConnell of Mt George; Danny McConnell of Danville; sister, Brenda & Steve Melton of Danville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Bluffton Cemetery with Rev. Mark King officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, at the funeral home.
