Joyce Loretta Day Watkins was born May 25, 1952 to her parents, the late Ethel May Oliver Day and Alex Day Sr., in Morrilton, Arkansas, whom had a total of five children. She departed this earth to return to the Lord on March 27, 2022.

Joyce married Ray Watkins and to this union three children were born. One son, Lloyd Ray Whisonant preceded her in death. From a previous marriage, five children were born.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her siblings, Alex Day Jr., Bobby Day, Eunice May Day Hood and Nathaniel Day.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Grant Whisonant and one daughter, Ethel Amanda Pearl Thomas.

From the previous marriage, daughters, Loretta Moore, Carol Kilpatrick, Sheila Edwards Walker (Joe Jr.); sons, Audrey Ray Henson, Matthew Kristopher Whisonant; seventeen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
