Juanita L Benefield age 81 of Ola passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at her home. She was born November 17, 1930 in Moline, Illinois to the late Clyde & Velma Davis Tucker. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Plainview School, and a member of the Ola Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Roy Lamar Benefield and brother Donald Tucker. Survivors include her children Thomas & Kathy Benefield of Ola; Gerald Benefield of Ola; Susan & Kenneth Pyburn of Pontoon; Daniel & Katherine Benefield of Tennessee; Joseph & Melissa Benefield of Missouri; sister Linda Slawson of Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Ola Free Will Baptist Church with Bro David Riker and Bro.Brian Rose. Burial will be at Birta Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kenny Pyburn, Mark Pyburn, Tony Benefield, Jessie Benefield, Michael Benefield and Zac Benefield. Honorary pallbearers include Lane Benefield and Chad Benefield.
