She attended Fort Smith High School (now Northside) and Westark Community College.

Judy enjoyed a distinguished career in real estate development, construction, and property management. After beginning her career with Jimmie Taylor Realty and then at First Federal Bank, she joined ERC Properties, Inc., where she helped establish the property management division and held numerous executive leadership positions. Her responsibilities included overseeing more than 10,000 apartment units across nine states.

Widely respected throughout the housing industry, Judy served as president of several state Rural Housing Associations and the Arkansas Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. She later served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Rausch Coleman Development Group, Inc.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Judy was known for her strength, determination, generous heart, wonderful sense of humor, and ability to make everyone feel important. She loved telling stories, sharing her opinions, traveling, reading, music, and spending time with family and friends. Her home in Fort Smith was the gathering place for countless holidays and celebrations, where she delighted in creating traditions and memories that will be treasured for generations.
