Judy Morris Metcalf of Coos Bay, Oregon died on 5 July 2024 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Judy was born 13 July 1947 in Russellville AR to the late James Lee Morris and Verla Mae Davis Morris. Her late grandparents were Joe Morris and Maudie Kester Morris and Daniel Evertt Davis and Dolly Luella "Ellie" Stewart Davis. She was the oldest of 28 grandchildren on the Davis side of the family.

Judy loved to stay busy. When her children were still living at home, they were always fishing, hunting or camping. She loved going to all the different sports and activities that her two sons were participating. She liked to gamble and play different card games with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing golf. She was a retired bus driver for the Coos County Area Transit.  For the past 40 odd years she was involved in genealogy, researching her family history. She has many records and has also printed different family books. She also made calendars with all her family's birthdays and memories of the one that has passed. She became her family historian.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Chuck Metcalf, and a brother James Larry Morris. She is survived by two sons, Robert George of Dardanelle, AR and Jeffrey George of Russellville, AR; two sisters, Janis and Bill Dust, Dardanelle, AR and Angie McGee of NW Arkansas and a brother James Edward and Brenda Morris of Dardanelle, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many cousins, family members and friends.

Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes placed next to her late husband. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Chickalah Cemetery.
