Obituary

Judy Lavon Perry, age 74 of Russellville passed away Wednesday June 4, 2025 at Baptist Health in Little Rock.

She was born June 24, 1950 in Danville, to the late Roger and Helen Wiser of Havana, Arkansas.

Judy once worked for Petit Jean State Park, in her time at the park she took many Pictures for the Parks projects and built the once famous paper mache horse that resided at the park.

In her early years of marriage she worked from home as a seamstress until becoming an employee with the state of Arkansas and retiring after 32 years with Human Services.

She always had a great passion for horses, through out the years. Judy and her husband Jim raised and showed their horses along with their sons.

Judy became a member of the Pope County Riding Club, where she made many friends and held several positions within the clubs operations.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jackie, Jimmy Wiser and sister Janet Ridenour.

Survivors include her husband James Perry, and sons Shay Perry (Jeanne)

Christopher Perry (Jen), six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday June 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Havana Cemetery
