Judy Kay Tharp age 82 of Dardanelle, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Blossoms Nursing Home in Conway. She was born September 23, 1943 in Clarinda, Iowa to the late Clarence Long and Ruth Ellison Long. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dardanelle and she loved to crochet, read and do puzzle books. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Tharp; son, Mickel Tharp; daughter, Cheryl Goodwin; granddaughter, Nancy Robinson and three brothers, Carol Long, Lowell Long and Edward Long.

Survivors include her children, Kelly Guillory, Debbie Long, Timothy Tharp (Lacey), Paula Brown (Samuel "Bud"); twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Jeff Lewis officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
