Junior Flippo Junior Flippo age 87 of Russellville died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. He was born June 16, 1927 at Capps, Arkansas to the late James Columbus and Clarisa Richardson Flippo. As a teenager, he worked in the WWII Air Craft War Plants in California, was owner/operator of the old Skelly Truck Shop, and was a truck driver for over 40 years. He loved going to auctions and tinkering with anything with a motor, restoring and painting vehicles. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 53 years, Shirley May Flippo; brothers and sister, James Flippo, Joe Flippo, J.T. Flippo, and Janey Gray. Survivors include his children Randy Flippo and wife Brittany of Russellville, David Flippo of Atkins, John Flippo and wife, Cheryl of Pottsville; Ladonna Flippo Wetmore and family and her brothers and sister, Judy, Kenny, Clifford and Eddy; one sister, Ruth Flippo of Harrison; two brothers, Jack Flippo, Sam Flippo and wife Sybil all of Oklahoma; one brother in law Jimmy Carroll of Dardanelle; one sister in law Maxine Flippo of Harrison; seven grandchildren, Brandi Flippo Dorris and husband Daniel, Brooke Flippo and fiancé Colton Williams, Shelby and Sydney Flippo both of Pottsville, Chelsi and Holli Flippo of Tennessee, Ty Earls and fiancé Micahlyn Reese all of Russellville. Three great grandchildren; Jaxson Dorris, Brayden Druff and Braylee Earls all of Russellville and many nieces and nephews and were blessed to have the greatest neighbors and a special thank you to Daryl and Ruth. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
