Karen Darlene Rice age 79 of Danville passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

Karen was born August 30,1944 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Thurman A. and Elsie Holloway Shillings. She was a mother and homemaker and a retired poultry farmer for Wayne Farms.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years Charles Rice; sons Tommy & Melanie Rice and Chris Rice; and her fur baby Lil Cat.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Danville Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday, before the service at the church. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
