Kayla Lea Peek Morris age 35 of Danville passed away on March 1, 2021.  She was born February 25, 1986 at Russellville, Arkansas to Scott and Lisa Garner Peek.  Kayla was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church, a 2004 graduate of Danville High School and was currently a kindergarten teacher at S.C. Tucker Elementary School in Danville.  After High School she earned her BA in Professional Study's from Arkansas Tech University and her Masters in Art of Teaching from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.  She was preceded in death by one son, Landry Michael Morris; grandparents, Rufus Garner, Mike and Pat Peek; one brother-in-law, Matt Morris.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Morris; parents, Scott and Lisa Garner Peek; one daughter, Preslea Danielle Morris; grandmother, Erma Lea Garner; one brother, Chase Peek (Hannah); one sister, Tori Peek (Easton Carter); two uncles, Lance Garner (Brittany), Greg Peek (Paula); three aunts, Kim Foster (Rocky), Jan Cathey (Shawn), Shannon Mendoza (Avel); mother-in-law, Stacy Wallace (Marty); father-in-law, Mickey Morris (Sharon); one sister-in-law, Sarah Morris; 4 nephews Emmitt and Fletcher Peek, Mattox and Myles Wilson; and one niece Lexi Lea Peek; and many dearly loved cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Danville High School Gymnasium.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the Danville First Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Earl Ladd Cemetery at Danville.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Morris, Chase Peek, Austin Foster, Tate Mendoza, Reed Mendoza, Grant Cathey, Trent Cathey, Easton Carter

Landry Michael Morris age 10 of Danville passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. He was born March 29, 2010 to Daniel Cox and Kayla Lea Peek Morris. Landry was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church and a 5th grade student at S.C. Tucker Elementary in Danville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kayla Lea Peek Morris; great grandparents, Rufus Garner, Mike and Pat Peek, Bobbie Morris and Woody Woods (Gwyn); one uncle, Matthew Woods Morris.
