Obituary

Kenneth Ray Hill age 58 of Plainview passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Kenneth was born July 16, 1966 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Billy Ray & Linda Melton Hill.  He attended the Aly Community Church. Kenneth was a bus driver for the Two Rivers School for 40 years.

Kenneth has now gone on to his Heavenly home and is no longer in pain. His smile will forever be remembered and cherished. Even though he was struggling with discomfort, he was still smiling daily. That says a lot about this amazing man.

Most of you may know him as the "Best behind the scene" support for HILL STREET BLUES. He was always there, ready, and supporting them with all he had. But most importantly, he was also an amazing HUSBAND, FATHER, and FRIEND to many! When he wasn't helping  set up for a show, he was at home loving his family and caring for all their fur babies. Family as always been most important to him. This is a family that he and Kelly longed for, and it showed in the smiles they had daily. When he wasn't with his family, he was driving for Two Rivers School District. He cared for each child on that bus like they were his own. Protection of a father without fail.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years Kelly Hill; daughter, Kenley Hill; son, Kelton Hill; brother, Kelly "Bubba" & Patricia Hill.  nephews and nieces, Billy Wayne & Kiley Hill and Ella Hill; Katherine & Jake Henry  and Heaston Henry; cousins Joelle Melton, Daniel Melton, Allie Melton, Andy Melton and Mandy Beavers.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, May 5, 2025  at the Jesus Name Church with Rick Padgett, Bruce Lee and Bro. Caleb Lisenby officiating. Burial will be Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Daniel Melton, Billy Wayne Hill, Ron Sullivan, Troy McConnell, Todd Spencer, Harold Lee Underwood, Cotton Morrison and Blake Beggs.

Honorary pallbearers include Hill Street Blues Band and Two Rivers School Bus Drivers and Joe Dishongh.
