Khamphanh "Kam" Souvannakhoth age 67 of Russellville died Friday, March 23 at his home. He was born March 1, 1945 in Savannakhet, Laos. He was a retired machine operator for Con Agra and a member of the Thai Buddhist Temple in Ft. Smith and the Arkansas River Valley Laos Immigrant Support Group. He is survived by his wife, Sayphone Souvannakhoth, children, Susan Hicks of Russellville, Elizabeth "Nok" Webster of Conway, Tino Souvannakhoth of Las Vegas, NV, mother, Pheng Souvannakhoth of Laos, sisters, Nancy Sanavongsay of Holland, MI, Souphaphone Vongvilay of Laos, brother, Oudom Souvannakhoth of Laos and six grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday, 2 PM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Monks from the Thai Buddhist Temple in Ft. Smith officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 5 to 7 Pm at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Pallbearers will be Tino Souvannakhoth, Mike Webster, Erik Webster and David Phasavo.
