Larry Gene Hodges, age 75 of Dardanelle, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1947 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Eugene Hodges and Retha Bratton Hodges. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, tutoring, helping with school work and volunteering to teach classes. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Charlotte Smith and her husband, Charles.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Suzanne Hodges; two children, Angela Knight (Joseph), Cheryl Seay; one sister, Barbara Mulder (Ralph); grandchildren, Ryan Knight, Ethan Seay, Logan Seay, Jackson Knight, Brooklyn Seay; nieces, Leslie Mathis, Gayla Milam and nephew, Charles Smith Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Dardanelle First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Benfer officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Knight, Ethan Seay, Logan Seay, Jackson Knight, Joseph Knight and Charles Smith Jr.
