Larry Wood

Larry Gene Wood age 71 of Centerville died Monday, June 27, 2016 at John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born March 6, 1945 at Huffman, Arkansas to Jessie Lee and Rachel Nelson Wood. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, a truck driver and had a passion for horses. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Lee Wood; one son, Kevin Wood; two sisters, Vivian Crain, Rachel White.

Survivors include his mother, Rachel Nelson Lytle; three sisters, Brenda Newson (James) of Morrilton, Wanda Cody (Ewell) of Casa, Joan Hanna (Arlie) of Russellville; two brothers, Joe Lytle of Mayflower, Carl Lytle of Morrilton and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Gene Tanner officiating. Burial will be private in Graves Cemetery in Delaware. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Arlie Hanna, Ewell Cody, Gordon Miller, James Miller, Paul McKinney, Chris Yarbrough.
