Laura Smith Laura Elizabeth Smith age 52 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at her home. She was born September 16, 1962 at North Little Rock to the late Obie Lee and Mary Ann Bell Smith. Laura moved to Dardanelle a year and a half ago to live with her sister and brother-in-law. She attended North Hills Exceptional School in North Little Rock where she also graduated high school. She was a resident at Elizabeth Richardson Center in Springdale for 15 years where she received excellent care. She was a State Finalist in swimming in the Special Olympics, loved shopping, country music and she believed in God. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sue Bankston. Survivors include her brother, Dan Smith and wife Donna of Cabot; one sister, Deann Vick and husband Steve of Dardanelle; nephews, Scott Smith and wife Reba, Michael Morgan and wife Kirstin; one niece, Jan Orr and husband Joel; five grand nephews and two grand nieces. Visitation will be held at her home in 1900 Ridge Road, Dardanelle, Arkansas on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 1:00P.M. to 5:00P.M.
