Lauren Leighanne Tate age 20 of Havana passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

Lauren was born March 2,2006 in Russellville, Arkansas to Larry Lincoln & Diana Gail Turner Tate. Lauren was a 2024 graduate of Western Yell County School. She was an old soul.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Eveleen Murphy; grandfather, Bill Ford; grandfather, Douglas Turner, aunts, Ruby Kiggin and Sue Sullivan; uncle, Arron Martin; and furr baby cat, "Slick".

Survivors include her father, Lincoln & Lesley Tate; mother, Diana Tate and Chris Gray; brothers, Andrew Tate, Ethan Nuckols and sister,  Payton Barefield; grandparents, Larry & Cheryl Tate, and Linda Ford; aunts, Donna Martin and Sonya & Allen Craig; uncle, Chad Greenwood (Sabrina) cousins. Owen Craig (Belle), Olivia Spears (Zack), Graylee Greenwood, Colden Greenwood, Rhett Craig, Charlotte Craig, Kylie Greenwood and her children.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Ranger Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Chancellor. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday May 21, at Danville Cornwell Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Old Baptist Cemetery in Gumlog, Arkansas.
