Lawanda Haynie age 88 of Russellville died Saturday, March 10, 2019 at Stella manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 23, 1930 at Gurdon, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Gladys Wilbanks Hart. She was a member of the Portland Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Haynie; father, Clarence Hart; mother, Gladys Hart; brothers, Verned, Bill and James Hart and sisters, Bobbie McKinnon and Mary Jenckes.

Survivors include her children, Kathryn D. Pearson and husband Russell of Russellville, Charles L. Haynie and wife Janet of Russellville; sister, Jean Kincaid and the late Farish Kincaid of Morgan, Arkansas; brother, Robert Hart and wife Patsy of Little Rock; grandchildren, Amanda Wise and husband Kaleb of Benton, Jeremy Pearson and wife Alma of Nashville, TN, Keith Haynie of Russellville, Kris Haynie of Dardanelle, Alison and Jordan Jenkins of Russellville; great grandchildren, Karson Wise, Dallas Pearson, Erin and Korbin Sanford of Conway, Alex, Ethan and Bentley Jenkins of Russellville, Logan and Chloe Haynie of Russellville and great great grandchild, Oaklee Sanford of Conway.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Senior Pastor Greg Sykes officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel. Burial will be in McGhee Cemetery in Adona.

Pallbearers will be Russell Pearson, Jeremy Pearson, Kaleb Wise, Keith Haynie, Matthew Pruss and Steven Hart.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kris Haynie, Jordan Jenkins, Bo Pruss, Austin Pruss, Dr. Alan Kirkland and the nurses and caregivers of Stella Manor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideons International.
