Lawrence Uhrich

Lawrence Lee Uhrich age 89 of Subiaco formerly of Dardanelle died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.  He was born February 28, 1927 at Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Dorthy Hopkins Uhrich. He was a welder and farmer. Lawrence had a passion for music and loved getting to play his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Robbie Lee Uhrich; one son, Gary Uhrich; one daughter, Brenda Uhrich; one granddaughter, Katherine Elaine Kropp; one great grandson, Bobby Lewis Slaughter, Jr. and two sisters, Margaret Thompson and Delores Smith

Survivors include his wife, Bobbsy Lowery Uhrich of Subiaco; two children, Patsy Austin (Tony) and Bo Uhrich (Tricia) both of Dardanelle; two sisters, Clara Rial (Carl) of Cabot and Mary Catherine Roberts (Bill) of Jacksonville; three brothers, Norman Uhrich (Ann) of Cabot, Ray Uhrich (Gail) of Jacksonville and Roger Uhrich of Texas; eight grandchildren, Billy Slaughter, Bobby Slaughter, Sr., Bryan Slaughter, Blake Vyers, David Kropp, Josh Uhrich, Matthew Uhrich and Jerrod Palmer; twenty great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Pallbearers will be Billy Slaughter, Dustin Slaughter, Bryan Slaughter, Blake Vyers, Josh Uhrich and Matthew Uhrich.
