Lee Tyra age 79 of Danville passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at his home.

Lee was born January 21, 1946 in California to the late Archie & Irma Baldwin Tyra. He was a member of the Wilson Freewill Baptist Church. Lee was retired from the City of Danville and was a retired Nazarene Minster.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Tyra, parents, and brother, Lloyd Tyra.

Survivors include his son, Tim Tyra; daughter, Leah Roddy (Shawn); grandchildren, Sean, Shawna, Selena, Marika, Logan, Lily and Adalee; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Olivia, Kabella, Reagan, Madi, Adaline, Kinsley and Emily.

A memorial service will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 6, 2025 at t

the Wilson Freewill Baptist Church in Belleville with Bro. Mark King officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
