Lela Belle "Tela" Sherrill age 88 of Belleville, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

Tela was born March 27, 1929 in Spring Creek, Arkansas to the late Fred & Sarah Lavada Hale Knight. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Waymon Sherrill; parents; sister, Molly Jean Knight; brothers, Samuel, Jackie, Dalton "Cougan" Knight; nephew, Teddy Knight and niece, Randy Jill Knight Johnson.

Survivors include her brother & sister-in-law, Dale & Mary Knight of Belleville; sisters-in-law, Sandra Knight of Dardanelle; Ruth Miller of Clovis, New Mexico; brother-in-law, Sam Turner of New Blaine; nephews & nieces who loved her dearly, Stephanie & Wayne Crawford, Fred Knight, Eddie & Lisa Knight, Marty Robinson, Suzanne Knight and Joe & Angela Knight; several great and great-great-nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Stapleton officiating. Burial will be at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Fred Knight, Matt Knight, Joe Knight, Joey Richardson, Leon Woods, Jeff Turner, and Clifford Turner.
