Lena Mae Roseberry Bonin was born on December 11, 1932 in St. Martinsville, LA to John and Lilly Sandoz Roseberry. She passed away on October 30, 2016 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. Lena was baptized in the St Martin de Tour church in St. Martinville, LA on December 24th, 1932. In 1955 Lena married Dalton Bonin. To this union 4 children were born, Tommy, Arnold "Dean", Manuel, and Malcom. Lena has lived in many states including Arkansas, Missouri, and Louisiana. But she always considered Louisiana her home. She loved being around her loved ones and attending church. Lena was a homemaker and enjoyed many things in life. She loved to play bingo, yard sale, listen to swap and shops, word searches, watching westerns, drinking coffee, and playing with her dog Mac. Lena is preceded in death by her parents John and Lily Roseberry, Sister Goldie Champagne, and nephew Michael Champagne.

Lena is survived by her husband Dalton of the home, sons Tommy Bonin, Abbeville, LA., Arnold "Dean" Bonin (Brenda) New Iberia, LA, Manuel Bonin (Patty) Dardanelle, Ark., Malcolm Bonin (Joyce), New Iberia, LA., sister Joyce Alleman, brother John Roseberry, 10 grandchildren (Crystal Bonin Blanchard, Pee Wee "Brent" Bonin, Michelle Bonin Parmalee, Chantel Bonin, Rena Bonin, Julee Bonin Gonsoulin, Teasha Bonin Carret, Kelsey Bonin , Derek Bonin and Brandy Comeaux. 11 great grandchildren (Scott Parmalee, Chloe Gonsoulin, Raleigh Gonsouiln Jr., Jada Vicknair, Jenna Vicknair, Jasmine Badeaux, Timothy Bonin, Eljha Bonin, Chelsey Hebert, Amber Seguara, and Cameryn Comeaux ), many nieces , nephews, and friends.

Rosary will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Father Maurico Carrasco officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, noon to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service.
