Leon Roberson Leon Frank Roberson age 100 of Delaware, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. He was born September 28, 1914 in Delaware, Arkansas to the late Frank and Mattie (Rollans) Roberson. He was a retired truck driver. He loved to dance and play the harmonica. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jackie Roberson; a grandson Eric Tedford; a son-in-law, Sonny Tedford; 3 brothers; 3 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Loretta (Roulston) Roberson of Delaware and 4 children, Patti Salkeld and husband James of Conway, Lauretta Tedford of Conway, Ann Claypool of Dardanelle, and Ronnie Roberson of Little Rock; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Pastor Kelly Pearson officiating. Burial will be at Brearley Cemetery, Dardanelle. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel before the funeral service. Pallbearers include Jeff Roberson, David Roberson, Kent Roberson, Rance Claypool, Kenneth Johnson, and Jeremy Burroughs. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle.
