Lester Allen "Sam" Whala age 59 of Gravelly passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital In Little Rock. He was born November 12, 1955 in Eugene, OR. to the late Lester D. & Alice Dale Billingsley Whala. He is preceded in death by his father Wife Deborah Dianne Millard Whala, Sisters Barbara Mitchell, Debbie Sherrill and Peggy Hudson Survivors include his mother Alice Billingsley Whala; son, Shadrick and Tracey Whala of Gravelly; daughter Mindy and Gaylen Honea of Booneville; sisters Kathy and Jerry Tabor of Springfield, OR And Iva Lou and Ed Meyers of McLouth, KS; brother-in-laws Larry Mitchell of KS, Gary Sherrill of Bluffton and C.L. Hudson of Bluffton; grandkids, A.J. Arriaga and Vanessa Whala of Gravelly and Abbigale Sharp of Pottsville; and several nephews and nieces.
