Lester Whala, 86, of Bluffton, Arkansas died Monday, December 22nd, 2014. He was born January 9, 1928 to Walter and Iva Mae Whala. He was preceded in death by his parents, three daughters: Barbara Dale Mitchell of Hot Springs Village, AR, Debra Ann Sherrill of Bluffton, AR, Peggy Jeanette Hudson of Bluffton, AR and 2 great grandsons: Branson Pugh of Benton, AR and Cayden Hudson of Bluffton, AR. He is survived by his wife: Alice Dale Billingsely Whala, two daughters and one son: Kathryn Jean Tabor of Springfield, Oregon, Iva Lou Meyers of McLouth, Kansas, Lester Allen (Sam) Whala of Blufton, AR, 1 sister and 1 brother: Jessie Reed Cain of Kansas City, Kansas, Walter Whala of Bellflower, California. Lester has 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at 12:00 on Tuesday, December 30 followed by funeral services at 2:00 in Cornwell's chapel.
