Levona Gene "Ma" Morrison age 87 of Rover passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home.

Ma was born September 13, 1934 in Rover, Arkansas to the late William S. & Dovie Levona (Gladden) Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Floyd "Pa" Morrison; parents; siblings, Joe Blankenship, Arlene Carpenter, Gracie Holloway, and Lucy Blankenship; son-in-law, Harold Cain.

Ma was a faithful woman of God and member of the First Baptist Church in Rover. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and all things outdoors. She was a mother to all and loved being surrounded by friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Barbara & David Garrett; Peggy & Donnie Emerson ; Kathy Cain all of Rover; Gary & Cindy Morrison Sr. of Ola; Jan & Kenny Goodall of Atkins; Nada Morrison of Danville; Larry & Wanda Newland of Enola; sister, Ethel Reed; brothers, John and Roy Blankenship all of Rover; grandchildren, Jimmy Garrett; Heath Cain both of Rover; Leigh-Anna & Justin Minnie; Megan Morrison & Zack Pryor all of Centerville; Gary & Cheyenne Morrison Jr. of Birta; Cady Morrison of Ola; Shawn Newland of Enola; Emily, Olivia, and Dawson Killer of Atkins; Misty Huett, Rusty, Cooper and Kamdyn Goodall of Atkins; great-grandchildren, Colton Garrett, Christian Javalera, Aurora Forrest, Noah, Drew, Austin, and Lexi Minnie, Bonnie and Sawyer Morrison, Makenna and Maybree Pryor; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; and her best friend and partner-in-crime, Reta Eden.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Rover Baptist Church with Elvin McDill, Stacy Lisenbey and Dan Osolin officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hunts Chapel Cemetery in Rover.

Pallbearers include Roy LaRue, Clay VanHorn, Mark Isenhower, Roy Hodge, Dobber Yandell, and Tom McCool.
