Tankey Swan

Lewis Franklin Swan "Tankey" age 70 of Springdale formerly of Marianna died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at his home. He was born March 15, 1947 at Helena, Arkansas on a riverboat to the late Paul Franklin and Ruby Honeycutt Swan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debbie Kay Hart.

Survivors include his wife, Earlene Swan of Springdale; one son, Michael Swan and wife Carol of Springdale; two daughters, Tammy Hulsey and husband Wade of Lowell, Karen Goodman of Wesley; two brothers, Tom Swan and wife Mary Jane of Bradford, Ricky Swan and wife Nancy of Brickey's; five sisters, Patsy Miller of Odessa, MO, Kathy Swan of Fort Myers, Florida, Vicki Mathes and husband Junior of Forest City, Mary Ramey and husband Tommy of Forrest City, Rena Johnson of Wynne; six grandchildren, Chancey McNair and wife Courtney of Fayetteville, Travis Goodman of Wesley, Daniel Goodman of Wesley, Derek Swan and wife Becca of Wesley, Stephanie Swan of Springdale, Max Hulsey of Lowell; six great grandchildren, Danny, Cameron, Maverick, Chase, Corwin and Kayden and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Marianna Church of Christ, 531 Atkins, Marianna, Arkansas 72360 with Chris Swan and Tom Swan officiating. Burial will be in Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna. Visitation will be held Friday, 11:00A.M. to 1:00P.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Michael Swan, Derek Swan, Stephanie Swan, Billy Hart, Toby Hart, Chancey McNair.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Hulsey, Tommy Ramey.

The family wishes to invite everyone to a pot luck after the service at The Webb Farm, 2123 Hwy 1, Marianna, Arkansas 72360.
