Lina "Diane" Nelms, "Nanaboo" age 71 of Belleville, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 11. 2025 at her home. She was born November 25, 1953 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Wilbert Spears and Thelma Louise Dobbs Spears. She was a home maker and loved being a nana and spending time with her grandkids. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Alvey (JR), Carolyn Smith; one brother, Therman Spears; grandparents, William Isaac and Minnie Keys-Spears, Fee Winfield, Dovie Florence Garner Dobbs; sister-in-law, Linda Ingram and brother-in-law, Ron Fowler.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Nelms; five children, Larry Nelms, Shannon Duis (Gene), Lia Ellison (Donny), Amy Harris (David), Joey Nelms (Arrie); one sister, Mary Fowler; sisters-in-law, Brenda Hunt, Cheryl Millard (Dennis); brothers-in-law, Chuck Ingram, William Smith; fifteen grandchildren, Tiffany, Lynzie, Jennifer, Brooke, Doug, Ashley, Conner, Ryan, Chance, Clayton, Brylin, Kala, Kori, Paisley, Natalie; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, July 14, 2025 at Grace Church in Belleville with Mark King officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Nelms Cemetery in Waveland.

Pallbearers will be David Fowler, Jared Brooks, Doug Nelms, Ray Fowler, Clayton Hayden, and Chance Hayden.
